Springville Campus

An exciting new work of God's people is beginning here in Springville, Alabama under the authority and leadership of the Presbyterian Church in America. Springville and the surrounding areas are experiencing rapid growth and development. Seeing this growth, we are reminded of Christ's words in Matthew 9:36-38:

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."

We were those who were absolutely lost and helpless until God graciously found and redeemed us.  In response to His grace we seek to glorify and enjoy Him by telling others the good news of the person and work of Jesus Christ.  This "good news," or "the Gospel," is simply the announcement that Jesus lived the life we should have lived, died the death we should have died, and has risen from the dead to give life to His people.  It is our hope that God would even use us to proclaim this Gospel and continue His work of bringing a harvest of people into His Kingdom.

We presently have a small group Bible study meeting weekly with the goal of starting a worship service in the near future. Our hope in the coming weeks and months is to work toward becoming a particularized church in the Evangel Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America.
